Q about the Grossan Sinus Irrigation Tip

Question:

I’m curious as to how helpful the users of this are finding it to be.  Has anyone experienced success with this product?  I just found the Web page today that advertises it, and I want to know if anyone has found it successful in treating sinusitis. -jp

I’ve certainly found it successful in clearing the junk out of my nose, whether from sinus problems or colds.  Warm saline is soothing and feels good, too.  Cheers,

With all the dust and bacteria ever present in the air, I feel an irrigator is a real plus. I don’t like to think of years of dust, etc., settling in the sinus for years without doing anything about it. I have been using salt water in nose common empty nose drops bottles for years and have been very happy with this way. I bought an irrigator from this newsgroup and it is much better than the way I mentioned and less painful unlike the nose drops bottles no matter whats in it. In comparasion it is a cake walk. I know someone that swears using sage tea "blood warm" in the dispenser. I use salt water or cammomole tea. I bought one and am very pleased. I have had sinus infections for 25 years and it is the only thing that has helped. Doctors medicines sure didn’t. My sister just ordered hers last Monday!

I’m new to the group and have been using something called a "Birmingham Nasal Douche" for the past several years. This seems to perform a similar function but sounds sturdier. The Birmingham is a small, delicate glass vial that has risen in price from 99 cents to 15 dollars over the past 5 years. (It seems they’re not made any more.) Could someone please repost the directions to find a seller of the Grossan Sinus Irrigation Tip?

any application of saline, just so it is mixed correctly is beneficial. The advantage of using the Water Pik with the nasal device is that the pulsation of the water pik is at 20 pulses per second, and healthy nasal cilia are at 16 per second, so it is an ideal way to restore cilia to normal. http://www.ent-consult.com
