How about we all have a sinusitis party. I'll bring food

Question:

OK, I know this may sound wacky at first,,but hear me out. We all come to this newsgroup regarding mostly sinus related stuff. I help you out,,You help me out…He helps her out…You help him out,,,Well you get the point. There’s alot of us here helping everyone out the best we can. There’s Nadine with the irrigation info…There’s Steve L. that actually benefited from having surgery in places he thought he didn’t need, and then realized that he had a false negative CT scan. Then there’s Dr. Grossan giving out useful information on the irrigator…And everyone else giving out all the info and knowledge they can. It’s like this whole sinus thing brings us together like a tiny little family if you will…..I know it sounds corny,,,but,,,,anyway, the point to all this is,,I think we should have like a National Sinus Day. Maybe something like we all meet and put faces to the names and situations we see everyday in the newsgroup. I don’t know,,maybe it’s because I’m battling this sinus thing forever now that I’m coming up with these wacky thoughts,,,Who knows..But if you really think about it, It’s strange, but also cool at the same time on how strangers like us here all help each other out and bring some bit of knowledge to the table for the benefit of others. I don’t know,,,After all these years on the internet, it still amazes me that someone I don’t even know in California,,,Helll,,,someone I don’t know in Germany can literally instantaneously help me out with a problem and doesn’t even know me. i mean it’s like one big party that never ends, and we all interact and talk to each other about sinus related things to help each other out..I don’t know,,does anyone here make any sense of this entire post? Anyone here even feel remotly the same as I am describing in this post..Sorry for the way I try to get my questions and pints across…Hey, us sinus sufferers are a unique group, and I find that all the suffering I continue to go through has made me a stronger person in other areas of my life…..I’ll stop ranting,,,Feel free to reply.

Considering we are all over the planet, it would be a financial burden for most here to get together, especially considering how much we spend on medical bills and prescriptions! I was in another NG for a while and someone started a webpage. All people had to do was scan and email a picture with some biographical info. Anyone up to the task?? Nadine

Heya.. LOL, a sinus party! But, maybe it is a good idea…for all of those people who suffer this awful disease. It is a good way to exchange information, give workshops and seminars about different topics etc. If it would be a well organised event, i would very seriously think about going there, even that it means i have to fly from Europe, The Netherlands to USA. (that’s also because i have bin there already more times and i love the country, so it is not a punishment to go there..:-)) Beacuse i am in Europe, i do not think i can give any kind of help with arranging things, but if i could, just ask me. Nadine brings up a great point. Didn’t think about the overseas expense. The website idea sounds cool. I know basic HTML and AOL gives free space. So attention everyone here:, email me some pics and your story, and I’ll start a webpage. I’ll make the webpage simple. A small picture that becomes big when someone clicks on it, and below the picture a story of your sinus problems in your own words. This could be fun. You could add to it every now ans then to keep us updated of your condition. Sounds like great fun, a group of people getting together to tell each other how miserable their sinus problems are! A great party that would be!! (LOL) Yes, it’s useful to share information here, but somehow the idea of a sinus party doesn’t sound like great fun to me!
