Flooded Eustation Tubes.
Question:
When you do irrigation with the Hydro Pulse you should bend forward with your head facing the drain and NOT turn your head to the side. I have been using the Grosson irrigator and tip for quite a while now. About 8 days ago I was irrigating my sinuses. I used half the solution on the right nostril until the solution came out the left nostril.. I switched over to the left nostril. I was not paying attention. The right side was blocked and before I knew it I flooded my eustration tubes big time. I have trouble sitting up, standing up or any time I lift my head. Sometimes I get so dizzy that I feel that I am going to black out. If someone can provide me with some information to get the water out of my eustation tubes and middle ear it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

With the Grosson irrigator, does it have any instructions on the proper position to hold the head so that the danger to flooding the Eustachian Tubes is minimized? To me, the most dangerous positions to irrigate would be with the face up, or leaning back, but I am not an expert. I have done a lot of research on problems with Eustachian Tube flooding, and I have yet to find a solution. Some have had some success by having tubes put into their eardrum, to help with the draining. I’ve been successfully flooding my sinuses and nasal passages for over 2.5 years, with a diluted mixture of 3% hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and kosher salt, in order to treat my sinusitis. In my documentation, I’ve got specific warnings and suggestions about the position of the head, in order to protect the Eustachian Tubes. Good luck.
