Please do not stop thinking. Understand that people that do not believe in the constitution of the USA,,,,, want you to stop thinking. One thing you can do is not to think it is a living document. It is what it is and does not need to be changed. Over 200 years and the leader of the free world should prove something to people that can think for themselves. Harv

Harv, Slavery was embodied into the constitution, are you suggesting that we should have left it as is? I hate to say it but it looks as if you are advocating not thinking, because any thinking person can only come to one conclusion, and that is if something appears to be not right, the only way to get it right is to change it. That’s why we have 23 amendments, or is it 24? Times change and the abominable of one generation is the acceptable of a subsequent one, and the only criterion is "does it work." Belief in the infallibility of the constitution is to me border line Idolatry. LOLOLOL, The constitution even covers wanna be experts. No where in the original is slavery allowed. It was the people that allowed this to happen. It has inspired this great nation and will continue to do the job because people like you will not be allowed to use it for their own purposes or change it at will. Harv
