Well you know, that is forty degrees fairenheit…so it’s still not warm by any means…actually I think we might get in the high 50’s this weekend. This week my stomach has been giving me fits too…so I know that feeling. I bought some kind of anti-gas pill the other day that was made to reduce that bloated gassy pressure feeling, and I think they work. Doesn’t eliminate the actual gas, but it does help a lot to keep me from feeling cut in two by loose sweat pants LOL Excactly I couldn’t say it better. Boy oh boy and you feel like you are gonna explode and not even mind it. LOL Sorry to hear about your knee…and I relate to the sinus thing too! I have had to use a saline nose spray because my steroid nose spray that used to keep my sinuses from infection, now reminds me of the bleach burning my nose, so I freak out. Hate the feeling of the liquid saline crap running down the throat, but it does work quite well~ Anyhow, hope Annaland gets sunshine today sometime…it’s actually warming up here…*snicker* it’s going to be FORTY DEGREES today…. break out the bathing suit! I loved your letter. Do you like to pamper yourself? My idea of pampering myself is to prop myself in bed and read. I’ve been reading hungrily lately (now that the holidays are over and I’m less busy), and it feels so wonderful. I told my husband last night: "I feel like just gulping down books and magazines! It’s the best feeling in the world."

Do I know this? well well I love to read. I am a book omnivore And lying in bed with a book wooow Do you also allways read before sleeping? I just read "Stones From the River" by Ursula Hegi. Have you read that? It’s excellent. I want to read some of her other books now. (Several of them are set in the same small fictional German town as "Stones" — Hegi based it on her childhood home.) Now I’m starting "The Poisonwood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver; I love her writing. Also, "The Best Essays of 2000", and "Do Not Go Gentle: A Search for Miracles in a Cynical Time," a memoir by novelist Ann Hood about the death of her father. And I’m almost done with "Bird by Bird," a delightful book about the process of writing, by Anne Lamott. I keep several books going in different parts of the house, including the bathrooms (!), so wherever I am, I have something to continue reading. I love magazines, too.

I am ashamed to say I have not read one off these,but I am printing this letter I love the library so…. ATM I am reading some *oldies* John Irving and The new book by Wally Lamb I am also reading a huge book on the filosofy off Open Source But I wouldn’t mind some of that apple pie right now! :-)
