Incessant head pain
Question:
Please ask your doctor about using Clear.ease to reduce the inflammation that is probably the cause of your pain. You can download the information at www.ent-consult.com/enzymes.html Murray Grossan, M.D. http://www.ent-consult.com

This is what makes me feel the best. I found out I have to take prescription strength guifenisen 1200 mg twice a day! That is a lot. The sudafed (pseudoephedrine) makes me feel weird like I’m hyperventilating. I hate that because it works good.
Response:
Ask your doctor it taking an anti-inflammatory to reduce the inflammation would help your pain. You can download the information at www.sinus-relief.com/clearease.html to show the doctor. Murray Grossan, M.D. http://www.ent-consult.com

I agree that general practition doctors don’t know a thing about sinusitis. Mine told me to continue taking Allegra and an antibiotic even though I said my symptoms were getting worse. Being that he was a doctor, I listened to him. But after 6 weeks of taking Allegra and various antibiotics, I had very little mucous left and felt 10x worse than when I initially went to the doctor. I finally started talking to other people in the field and researching web sites and found out that taking an antihistamine (Allegra) was most likely the wrong thing to do and probably made me worse. It has deeply affected my view of the medical establishment. Even an ENT perscribed me oral steroids, which I don’t think are a good idea if you have an infection since it lowers the body’s ability to fight off infection, plus I started to feel worse after it. It has been over 10 weeks and I am still not better. My main complaint now is I have terrible pain in my jaw and face, which extends to my neck and throat (swollen glands). My nose does not seem to be stuffed that much anymore since I started irrigating and taking pseudo-ephedrine/guaifinesin 10 days ago (not a single doctor recommended irrigation, guaifinesin, pseudo-ephedrine, or a steam inhaler). I am going to another ENT tomorrow and we will see what he says. "Wayne" <wayne-pie…@email.msn.com> wrote in message

Anna you have my sympathies- when that kind of pain hits it is simply excruciating.Since you are in England I do not know what is available try two things- hot wash cloths[flannels to you] I find gives immediate relief. Also for this weekend do a makeshift irrigation by taking blood temperature water, sea salt and an old bottle with a dropper /bulb and do nasal irrigation. You can find a lot of information on the how to of nasal irrigation on this discussion board .Also go to Dr Grossan’s site at http://www.ent-consult.com or his FAQ at http://www.allergybuyersclub.com.he is the master mind behind nasal irrigation. GOOd luck! Mercia Tapping Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

These sinus infections can become dangerous and can even cause death if it erupts into the brain. Instead of trying to treat this on your own, you should be seeing an ENT doctor who can do proper CT scans and exam. My experience assures me that regular physicians do not know anything about sinus problems or how to treat them. Before being aware of ENTs, I complained to my primary doctor for about what I thought a sinus infection for a year. Finally I insisted on CT scans and he then agreed I had a sinus infection and referred me to an ENT doctor. I’ve since had surgery twice. Can anyone help? I have always suffered from sinus trouble – blocked nose etc, but for the last week I have had a dreadful headache/face-ache which I think is blocked passages behind my eyes and nose as this is where the pain comes from. (I have no blocked nose or cold symptoms) I started taking three Anadin Extra every few hours then switched to Mucron and nothing has made a difference. In the last half an hour I have resorted to taking an Imigran, my Migrane treatment, just so that I might get Some release from the constant pain. Does anyone know of anything else I should be taking and that is available in the UK? This pain is wearing me down and ruining my Easter Bank Holiday! Many thanks Anna
