Headache over eye
Question:
Hello everyone, I had a sinus infection about 6 months ago and I was on antibiotics, Flonase and it went away. Now I am getting the same symptoms and I get a strong pain that seems to come from behind my eye. Has anyohne else experienced this? I also get tooth ache. Thanks
Response:
I have bad headaches over my eyes – sometimes one eye and sometimes both. Sometime even over one eye for a couple of days and then moving to the other. I’ve assumed it sinus related and thought irrigation would help. It may have but not sure. 1) Has anyone else experienced this and what you have done to help. 2) How can you tell the irrigation is actually getting to the sinusus over the eyes? I tried everything to get rid of headache last night over my right eye but couldn’t. Finally took a Tylenol 3 to sleep. Thanks

Sinusitis is usually accompanied by other symptoms. Have you been diagnosed with sinusitis? — Heather Collins UK Mikecheath…@oakwellmount.freeserve.co.uk ETL <spo…@usit.net> wrote in message

Those are the same headaches as I have had. Ended up in the ER, and they couldnt’ get it to stop. My primary dr (who isn’t the greateston this planet}, said he thot it was migraines, or vascular headaches. In the end, my BP was way up and I am on low doses of atenolol to keep it normal. AND THE HEADACHE is gone!!! The dr. said that very few headaches that are called sinus, are actually sinus, but mostly tension or vascular headaches. I am reading a headache book now, and I am beginnign to believe him. I had been treating the headache as sinus, and had it for a month before it got so bad I couldnt’ stand it any more. Mine traveled from over one eye to the other, also. See your dr. Roz

Hello… I had problems with recurring headaches that always seemed to be situated on my left brow. It would ultimately bring on nausea and vomiting. Because I am a pilot, my medical examiner was concerned my blood pressure was a little on the high side. I was put on an approved high blood pressure pill a few years back…..Although I suffer with sinus problems, I haven’t had this type of headache since I went on these pills . The sinus pain in the area that I have experienced is mainly noticed by applying pressure to the bridge of the nose. I would suggest you get your blood pressure monitored and also, perhaps, have your eyes checked. Regards…..Jon
