Why no pain?
Question:
I get virtually no pain for any of my 6-7 infections per year. Many/most people report pain/pressure on their foreheads etc. I never have that. I get the yellow/green mucus and a lot of fatigue. I am not sure what all of this means, except that the no pain situation does happen in some of us. I also do all these sinus irrigations but at the end of the day the only thing that really helps is antibiotics (I had surgery but it did not help). good luck <Johnny1…@webtv.net> wrote in message

Hello… I just recently had a major flare-up with my sinusitis. For the past four days I have been irrigating just about every three hours (even at night), and everytime I’d be flushing out blobs of the yellow/green thick mucus. Things have settled down since I started on the Levaquin a few days ago. However, I felt rotten for most of the last 4 days…. Very sore throat, upset stomach, fatigue, chills … but very little pain from the sinuses. —And overall, although I was congested, my nose was clear enough to continue the irrigation. My Question … How can one have an ongoing major infection with no pain? Thanks….Jon
