Pain in the Nose
Question:
No it’s not the sinuses that hurt, its the actual cartilage of the nose that hurts. The septum part, believe me I know what sinus pain feels like and this is something different.
Response:
Absolutely Mary!, I had that for a few years after my surgeries. It can be a cold pain that hurts to the bone (or cartilage). I used to have to hold my nostrils closed together in order kind of warm up the bone or to help it adjust… It happens but it gradually decreases… It hasn’t happened to me in quite awhile but very rarely still does…but rarely… NS> 10 years and still draining… – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Mary 7915 wrote: > No it’s not the sinuses that hurt, its the actual cartilage of the nose that > hurts. Response:
Yes. I would’nt call it pain though. I can just sense changes in the weather, humidity, barometric pressure, etc. Call it a sensitive sinus occupational hazard….
