What to try next?
Question:
Your symptoms are identical to mine almost to the letter. In my humble opinion, it’s almost certainly house dust mite. If you’re in a position where you can, pull out all the stops, remove carpeting if you have it, keep your windows open as much as possible. Damp dust throroughly once, if not twice a week – and stick these: http://www.healthy-house.co.uk/products/product.php?product_id=179&pr… d=1 in your rooms. The bedroom is the place you need to blitz, get dust mite proof bedding and pillows. If it is the same thing – it’s not a ‘prevention’ or a ‘fix’ its a lifestyle change that’s needed, go for the long haul
If it isn’t that – the air you breathe will be cleaner, you’ll feel a whole heap better and you have lost nothing that wasn’t worth trying, because the alternative is not an option! Just my own opinion, but if you feel as bad as I do when it strikes, you’ll try anything!!! Good luck! TJ "Ian Scotchbrook" <eo…@hotmail.com> wrote in message

After many attempts to try and relieve my persistent symptoms I find myself stuck again. My ‘attacks’ cause pressure primarily along the cheeks and into the ears, particularly on the left side. They are coupled with increased tinutus and general fatigue. At their peak I get night sweats and disturbed sleep. However, my nose rarely blocks. In fact I have not had a runny nose for many years. Someitmes the left side seems unable to breathe normally. Recently, I have been trying nasal irrigation with a saline solution. It appears to make the situation worse…it has made my nasal passages feel slightly inflamed; like I have been swimming for prolonged periods. I have used a steriodal spray for years that has never seemed to have any real impact and I have discontinued its use. I have been seeing and ENT who has ordered CAT and MRI scans. They have not shown any obvious problems, though both were down outside of an attack. He reported I have a slightly deviated septum on the left side but he didn’t feel it warranted any action. He suggested there was nothing further he could do for me. I also had some general allergy tests that showed no obvious allergies. This is generally a autumn/winter problem for me. I realise there are many on here with worse symptoms than myself but nonetheless I am feeling frustrated and depressed by my ongoing cycle of symptoms and fatigue resulting in days off work and impositions on other aspects of my lifetstyle. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

I would not trust the allergy tests toe detect all sensitivities. Probably you are sensitive (if not technically allergic) to the usual culprit: household dust (and maybe mold if it is dampish there). Hello, You have told us Doc gave you both a CT scan and an MRI, however you havenot told us what he did for you in the manner of TREATMENT . . . Question: Why did he order both a CT scan and an MRI? Which did he order first; the CT scan or the MRI? You have an infection in your Maxillary with middle ear involvement. How come you donot go to your family Doc and ask him to send you to some one? Take your medical records from the first jerk . . . Your family Doc may even treat you for the sinus infection and even cure you . . . Get culture for fungus at family Doc. Tell Doc to check for fungus; make that important. Do you have nasal polyps? Ask family Doc if you have nasal polyps . . . You are too nice a person to be hurting like this – do something . . . !!!!! I bet your infection is Staph or Strep. Ask for culture for bacterial infection too (Staph/Strep). + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/benjamin.htm MustRead! http://WWW.PAMINIFARM.COM "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" Hosea 4:6 ___________________________________________________________________________ ____ Posted Via Uncensored-News.Com – Accounts Starting At $6.95 – http://www.uncensored-news.com <><><><><><><> The Worlds Uncensored News Source <><><><><><><><>
