Strange things.

Question:

I have a friend her son has sinus problem, and the doctor suggested a endoscopic sinus sugery, but she said she doesn’t want her son to suffer this painful thing, instead, she would like her son to endure, since she is a faithful Christian, she said he could live with it. Any idea about this? Another friend, she also has sinusitis, and she said the same thing. You guies, what do you think?

If it’s broken fix it.  There are most probably alternative methids of relief short of surgery.  If you go to a surgeon for an opinion, s/he will say cut! Good luck, John

I think you should report her to children’s services. Having faith for your OWN medical problem is a good thing and going to the doctor does not negate having faith that you will recover. Torturing your kids needlessly is cruel. Doctors and medical science are not anti-spiritual. These "crackpotted"  ways of thinking creates lots of problems psychologically for the weak-minded and innocent children, IMHO. The sinus surgery is more painful than on going chronic sinusitis, COME ON!!!! I suppose your friend would do a triple sommersault if the preacher said so…… God gave us minds…….it is sinful not to use them!! (Sorry to rant, but this kind of "thinking" is irritating to me as a thinking person who gets tired of seeing non-Christians totally turned off because their only contact with Christians were with people who "think" like this!) I had FESS done yesterday.  Believe me, sinus infections hurt a lot MORE than this procedure.  I can’t believe how good I feel already. CarlaF1…@aol.com (Carla Fritsch)
