"Sinus Pressure"
Question:
A multiple choice question for the group: Is the experience of "sinus pressure" so common in chronic sinusitis sufferers caused by: a. differences in air pressure between adjacent sinuses or between sinuses and the outside world because blockage (from swollen mucosa, mucus, polyp, or other obstruction) doesn’t permit pressure equalization; b. just having a bunch of thick mucus stagnating in a sinus feels like "sinus pressure"; c. inflammation in general, which is experienced as "sinus pressure"; or d. none of the above, all of the above, or a combination of the above (please specify) Thanks in advance for the input. My membranes are so inflamed sometimes that I can feel my pulse on my nose. Best regards.
