PND

Question:

In addition to the irrigation you also need: Drink huge amounts of hot tea – decaf is fine Warm compresses to the sinus area Avoid ice drinks and getting chilled. Murray Grossan, M.D. http://www.ent-consult.com http://www.TinnitusRelief.net

Response:

Instead of tea, I drink hot water from an air pot on my desk. I’ve discovered water has a ‘taste’ when it is hot! Ann "ENTconsult" <entcons…@aol.com> wrote in message

HI I have started using Grossan salt in water with water pik and special nose tip to irrigate my sinuses. After the first couple treatments, I haven’t yet noticed that the PND has lessened. I used to get a lot of sinusitis and bronchitis until I went low carb. It has been a couple years since I have had either but for the last decade I have had this constant PND that makes me cough frequently and ruins my sleep. Seems there is always a bunch of mucus at the back of my throat to be cleared…and such lovely breath…oy! What I am wondering is if having  had a root canal has any bearing on PND occurance or chronicity? I had a root canal about the same time I started getting PND. I am wondering if a dead tooth can be a source of chronic sinus mucus. The PND has continually gotten worse over the years. Anyone else have a thought on that? Hey I did find the FAQ after reading more posts, what a treasure trove of info. TIA Mary
