Infected Sinuses
Question:
Peter; My family and friends have had excellent results with Dr. Donsbach’s homeopathic remedy. Go to local pharmacy, and get a plain, saline solution nasal spray, the kind that comes in a small plastic bottle, is filled with saline, and you remove the cap and squirt into your nostril. Remove the spray top, dump out about 1/4 of the saline solution, and replace with about 20 drops of plain 3% hydrogen peroxide. Replace the top, spray as usual. Be prepared to see the most vile looking stuff come out of your nose, FOREVER. I have a very good barrister friend who suffered for many years with similar condition to yours, spent huge sums visiting specialists, who tried every expensive quack remedy you can dream up (they didn’t try leeches or bloodletting though). In 3 days he was back to normal, and has remained clear for several months now. If you have a shortwave radio, he is on WWCR worldwide weekdays at 2200 utc, and at same time on www.truthradio.com. Name of the show is called "Let’s Talk Health", call in show, 5.070 Mhz. He is also carried on another site on internet but url escapes me now. Or you can do a search on "Let’s Talk Health" or Dr. Kurt Donsbach. 73, Jim – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – My name is Peter and I suffer from chronic sinusitis. It seem that every time I get a cold or a runny nose my sinuses become infected.Currently Im getting over an infection which began about 3 weeks ago and I still feel very weak and have no appetite.Even though I am on antibiotics my lymph nodes are still swollen and quite frankly Im becoming a little concerrned about the time its taking to feel better. can anyone tell me what I can take to avoid getting infected sinuses and if they do become infected what can I take other than antibiotics.Does anyone know of a more "permanent" cure to avoid infected sinuses? Any help would be most greatly appreciated. Peter, http://www.holisticmed.com/conditions/allergies.html There is a link to books. A couple of the books are very useful for sinus problems. By the way, in what sense is a 3/1 mixture of water and H202 "homeopathic?"

Once you have a purulent discharge and infection is diagnosed, you really need antibiotics. Nothing is going to be effective at that stage, and please don’t delay. Sinus infections can lead to dreadful complications, including meningitis, meningo-encaphelitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, sepsis, rhematic complaints… However, one thing you can do concurrent to antibiotic intervention or as a regiment when you are better is this: Irrigating the sinuses with a slightly saline solution (salty) or with warm water and boric acid. You can get boric acid at many pharmacies (Chemists.) A tablespoon in a quart of slightly warm water will do. Or a teaspoon of table salt in warm water. With a bulb syringe, also found at pharmacies, fill up the bulb and covering one nostril, leaning over a sink, (KEEP YOUR MOUTH OPEN during this) squirt the solution into one nare and then repeat the other side the same way. Now, since you have chronically inflamed sinuses, this is going to really grab your attention, especially at first! It may "ouch", but it is perfectly safe and will not harm you even if your sinuses are very infected. If you do this on a regular basis, it will definately resolve a majority of your problems. You can do this daily or several times a week. Inhaled steroids in nasal spray form help with the irritation that makes you prone to infection. Unlike oral steroids, they are topical and don’t absord into the body, so they’re safe and effective too, and can be used in daily maintenance for people with severe allergic rhinitis which leads to chronic sinusitis, but they require a prescription. I hope you feel better soon. Ariel
