I am sick,sick,sick,of being sick
Question:
I am sick of being sick from chronic sinusitis. I am sick of the disgusting smelling thick yellow discharge coming from my right nostril. I am sick of feeling like I have a cold all the time. I am sick of Doctors who do not believe me when I tell them that I have had this condition for over two years. I am sick of trying all sorts of anti-biotics that do not work. I think the trick will be to find the right doctor.

I agree, the right doctor is essential. And, I know how you feel. I have had chronic sinusitis for about 20 years. It’s really awful and many doctors do not believe you are really sick or wish you would simply go away. In part, that may be because there is often not much they can do for you. Regular steaming, saline irrigation, and cortisone nose spray, the occasional pseudophedrine and when you get a real doozy of an infection, antibiotics, all have a role to play in treatment. Sometimes surgury too, depending on your condition. But, for many people like me, there is no magic bullet. That really sucks, but what can you do! Good luck
