Homeopathic medicine is Helping.

Question:

I am inerested to know the dosage and frequency of what you are taking.  Having never heard of these before, are they homeopathic pills, herbs, or what exactly.  I’ve had a hellish month and a half of sinus problems, blocked eustachian tubes, etc. and ready to try anything (antibiotics haven’t worked). Thanks for the info.

Hi, its in very small ball type granules. I’m lead to believe the normal dosage is three or four granules per shot, three times daily. Thanks for taking the trouble to get infor., on these products.  They sound so mild to combat something as heavy as serious Sinus infection and yet my condition continues to improve.  I think that perhaps a chain of events that has been triggering flare ups has somehow been modified. Oh I am soooo glad someone else if having a positive experience with homeopathic medicine.  I posted a few weeks back and some clown kept trying to tell me that it’s all just the placebo effect. My experience was a little different and I just want to point out that as far as homeopathy is concerned, not every remedy works for everyone.  Some remedies are geared towards the specific ailment, but real homeopaths work more towards finding the one remedy that is the best for your "type".  What I am trying to say is, don’t try one remedy and if it doesn’t work for you give up and say that it’s all just humbug.  It does work but you need to find the right remedy!! I suffered from chronic sinusitis for 3 years with a new infection every 3 weeks.  The Drs finally said that I had to have surgery.   I saw one naturopath that tried all sorts of funky stuff on me and nothing did anything for me, including the homeopathic remedies she gave me. I spent last summer in Germany and a friend there had recommended a homeopathic mix that had really helped her (it’s called Sinuselect). That stuff REALLY helped me.  When I returned to the US I saw a real homeopath (her name is Judyth Reichenberg, she is a pretty well known authority in the field) and she gave me one dose of the remedy that she found suitable for my type (afterwards we found out that the same remedy was included in the medicine that I had brought back from Germany, that’s why it proably worked so well for me). Anyway, I have had 1 mild sinus infection within the last 7 months now and that I didn’t use antibiotics for , just irrigated my nose and it blew over in a few days without medication. So, I encourage everyone to pursue this path, I’d really suggest to read Reichenberg’s book "The Patient’s guide to homeopathic medicine".  It’s a great introduction to homeopathy and will really help you understand a lot more than picking up little bits and pieces of informationhere and there.

I’m just coming out of a month of Hellish sinus problems. Severe flare ups every night and day have left me totally exhausted. Antibiotics have not helped. A nurse friend recommended a course of Homeopathic treatment and more out of desperation I decided to give it a shot. The first night I slept all the way through without interruption, I could hardly believe it. The pain medication next to my bed was untouched which confirmed I was not dreaming!.  It’s now been five days and I’ve had a total of three flare ups. However, they have been much, much less intense and were soon extinguished with reduced quantity of pain killer. These are the three products I have been taking;  Pyrogenium, Allium Cepa and  Drosera. I don’t know why or how this ’stuff’ is helping – frankly at this stage I don’t care, I’m just so glad to be getting some relief. Hope this may be useful to somebody out there. George.
